Sewage bypass pumps are used
to temporarily divert sewage flow from one area to another. The Northeast
United States, rust belt States, Northwest, Ontario, Canada and British
Columbia, Canada are areas that are undergoing significant infrastructure
improvements to aging sewer line and wastewater treatment facilities. WWTP
digesters, sewer lift stations and sewer lines are being repaired or replaced.
Community investment projects like this require pumps to continue pumping
sewage while an area is under maintenance. Wastecorp will review the following
critical questions with you before your sewer bypass operation begins:
·
What is the peak flow?
·
How long will maintenance
require a bypass?
·
What is the sewer pipe
dimension?
·
How long will maintenance be
performed on the sewers?
·
Is there a temporary area for
placing bypass pumping equipment?
